So monsoons have almost arrived in India and we are ready to roll up our sleeves for monsoon makeup. Well! It’s not so pleasant season for makeup lovers as our makeup tends to spoil up easily. But with the right monsoon makeup products. You’ll definitely slay your look. So Let’s get ready with me for this monsoon.
Step 1:- Using primer for long-lasting monsoon makeup.
So I have used Colorbar perfect match primer for this look. I absolutely love this primer. It keeps ur make intact making it last longer. It is preferably the best monsoon makeup product.
Step 2:- Natural finish foundation
For monsoon makeup, you need to use a foundation that has a natural finish as that will avoid a cakey face. So I have used Maybelline fit me foundation in the shade natural buff 230. Since my skin is combinational, it tends to sweat a lot in the T-zone area. But this foundation manages to last long. It is the best drugstore foundation.
Step 3:- Concealer
Applying concealer is the most important step if you have dark under-eyes. Also, you can use concealer on pigmentation if you are short of the color corrector. I have used my goto concealer Maybelline fit me in the shade medium 25. Applied it under my eyes, over my eyebrows, on my cupid’s bow and also on the outer corners of my lips.
Step 4:- Set up your concealer with loose powder or a compact.
I have used Maybelline super-fresh compact for setting up my concealer and that works for me if you have oily skin go for a loose powder.
Step 5:- Lipstick
Without lipstick makeup is incomplete. Use lipstick with a soft light tone for monsoon makeup. Color like pink, peach nude, brown work the best. So I have used Maybelline Colorpop Fuschia pink on my lips
Step 6:- Highlighter
Use a highlighter on your makeup to get that soft glow on your high points. For this monsoon look, I have used a tiny amount of highlighter in the inner corners of my eyes. That’s Bit weird to use highlighter on eyes .but trust me that really works if you want those sparkling eyes.
Step 7:- Waterproof mascara
So for this look, I did not use any kind of eyeshadow, Since I wanted to keep it minimal. But mascara cannot be skipped as they can instantly change your makeup game by making your lashes look thicker and eyes defined so I have used waterproof Maybelline hyper curl mascara.
To give my makeup a finished look, I set it up with my compact and Tada! This is my final monsoon makeup look.
